PMQA 10 (Vision) is a unique suite of management reporting and business Intelligence software providing pan-application reporting, analytical processing, scheduling and alerting.

Vision Applications

Vision XL

Vision XL is an intuitive addition to the capabilities of Microsoft Excel and provides fast and adaptive ways to exchange data with the data in SunSystems. Vision XL is an Excel add-in and is displayed as an item on the menu bar or as a toolbar. Purpose-built functions, represented on the Vision XL menu, allow dynamic and flexible access to data to populate your Excel worksheets. The extensive functionality of Excel is enhanced through Vision XL, enabling powerful reporting and presentation. Since most Accounting users are already familiar with Microsoft Excel, the learning curve is minimal and users can easily extract data from SunSystems into a spreadsheet. Data prepared in Excel worksheets can be sent back to SunSystems for posting as journal entries. With its flexibility and ease-of-use, Vision XL allows non-technical and non-accounting staff to effectively analyze data, providing enhanced analytical power and assisting the decision-making process.

Vision Executive

Vision Executive is a standalone desktop reporting and analytical processing tool. Delve further into the details of your report by applying Vision Executive's analytic functions: Drilldown, Expand, Breakout and Cube Analysis. Frequently used analysis procedures can be saved and run to update the report. The analysis paths can be stored to be available every time a report is prepared.

Vision Word

Vision Word is an intelligent, intuitive addition to the capabilities of Microsoft Word, providing fast and adaptive ways to extract data from SunSystems to Microsoft Word documents. This Microsoft Word add-in provides extensive report-writing capabilities for the production of statutory as well as management reports and memorandums. Microsoft Word is currently one of the most commonly-used applications for creating critical documents such as reports, letters, financial statements and business plans. Vision Word makes it easier to use the existing and familiar functionality of Word to produce professional business reports. Since many companies produce their quarterly financial reports in Microsoft Word, and re-type the financial information that has been extracted from their Accounting system, Vision Word provides a useful link that can extract the data directly from SunSystems, alleviating the need to re-type the information. When a new journal entry is entered into SunSystems, the information is immediately updated in the Microsoft Word document when the document is refreshed.

Vision Alert

Vision Alert is an easy-to-use and highly flexible means of automating reporting tasks on an "event" or "time-driven" basis. Features called 'Alerts' enable Vision Alert to make automated conditional responses to specified conditions in Vision reports. For example, you could automate the running of Vision workbook and drill path extractions, which are then output in HTML format, e-mailed and are able to execute designated operating system commands. Vision Alert allows any number of Tasks to be created that can contain interdependent Processes. If a financial limit is exceeded, for example, an Alert is triggered that automatically generates one or more predetermined responses such as printing a report, distributing the report via e-mail, outputting in either HTML or to a Microsoft Excel file. Vision Alert complements and enhances the capacity of Vision XL, Vision Executive and Vision Word to identify and analyze the opportunities and problems concealed in the data of your organization.
