Pre-configured standard chart of accounts

To address the needs of the mid-size hotel market sector, a pre-configured template or "Core" system has been developed. The "Core" Chart of Accounts was designed to meet hotel standard account numbering ("Uniform System of Accounts"), and this has been verified against the structure documented in the book of the same name, published by the American Hotel & Motel Association, also contributed to by the British Association of Hospitality Accountancy ("BAHA"). This standard is globally accepted within the hospitality industry, and for example is used in throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Pre-configured analysis dimensions

Various analysis dimensions have been pre-defined, with departmental structures and management reporting lines set up. Additional dimensions can be added during the implementation of SunSystems if required.

Hospitality performance management

SunSystems' ability to store non-financial data in the same database as the financial data facilitates the collection and storage of hotel metrics. Examples included:
